# Solar Punk Songs — publishing notes

## Upload settings and review

1. In YouTube Studio, create an upload using `output/open-sky/open-sky.mp4`. Start with Private visibility.
2. Use the title and description files in `releases/open-sky/` (already populated with the release tracklist), and add `releases/open-sky/assets/thumbnail.jpg`.
3. Select Music as the category. For this general-audience music release, use “not made for kids”.
4. Set the AI use / altered or synthetic content disclosure to Yes: the music is AI-generated. Description disclosure does not replace the upload setting.
5. Listen to the beginning, every transition, and the ending; review any tracks you have not yet heard in full. Check the uploaded picture, audio, chapters, and 15:00 duration after HD processing.
6. Review YouTube's copyright checks. Resolve any claims before publishing. Do not claim “copyright-free” or promise others permission to reuse the music.
7. Publish after the private upload is reviewed. Monetization depends on your channel's eligibility and YouTube's review, even with commercial-use rights.

Uploads over 15 minutes and custom thumbnails may require channel verification. Follow Studio's verification instructions if prompted.

## Sources and retained evidence

Checked October 7, 2026:

- [Stable Audio commercial-use guidance](https://kb.stability.ai/knowledge-base/stable-audio-commerical-and-usage-licensing) permits monetized YouTube uses, subject to applicable terms.
- [Replicate terms](https://replicate.com/terms), section 5.1, grant rights in outputs including commercial sale or publication subject to third-party terms. Its Stability-specific additional terms distinguish model code/weights from generated outputs. [Model page](https://replicate.com/stability-ai/stable-audio-2.5): the linked repository license, https://github.com/zsxkib/cog-stability-stable-audio-2.5/blob/main/LICENSE, returned 404 during preparation; use the published provider terms and retain this source note.

Prediction receipts include generation IDs, model versions, prompts, dates, and result metadata. Keep them with your downloaded audio; they document provenance, rather than acting as an independent license.
